pet peeve (noun ) (Origination Date: circa 1919 ): a frequent subject of complaintList 3 of your pet peeves.A few of my own include:
People sticking their gum on the side of their dinner plate...rude and disgusting.
Toothpaste remains left in the sink.
Students trying to sneak out and leave before the bell rings for class dismissal...just stay in your seat!
